Refurbished in 2015, the elegance and historical charm of Shinde Enclave has been enhanced by enlarging the three classic safari guest tents to incorporate a spacious bathroom with a large walk in shower and luxurious fittings. The larger bedroom with new linen and furniture in tasteful colours provide the perfect retreat. Wide sliding doors leading onto the extended front decks afford breath-taking views over the mysterious waterways of the Delta.

The luxury tents are within close proximity of the private dining room and viewing deck, while structurally unchanged, this area too has received a complete furniture and fittings makeover. This area offers an exclusive hideaway and perfect location from which a family or small group of friends can explore the Okavango Delta.

Situated in the Shinde Concession, the Shinde Enclave offers a choice of land and water activities and is home to many aquatic species including the elusive sitatunga antelope. Activities include morning and late afternoon game drives in open safari vehicles, with afternoon game drives often continuing into the evening. Alternatively climb aboard a Mokoro with a ‘poler’ and enjoy exploring the Okavango Delta’s tranquil waterways. Motorboat trips, walking and fishing are other optional activities, all to be planned and taken with your private professional guide.
